When I told my parents that I was going to a restaurant called Bare Naked, they were a little concerned and to be honest, so was I. But, let me tell you, there is nothing to be concerned about. The food, the vibes, everything was immaculate.

The place is adorable inside. As soon as you walk in, it’s very open and inviting with a couple of swing chairs and booth tables. The color scheme was aesthetic with a cute off-white and a turquoise blue throughout.

I had a very pleasant experience. It ran very smoothly like it had been opened for a while. First, you walk in and there is a counter you order from. There are a ton of choices, all extremely healthy. I ordered a build your own bowl, a flatbread pizza and two drinks all for $30. In my opinion, it wasn’t very expensive and is a normally priced lunch for two people.

They have a fountain drink machine with multiple different choices. I tried a few and I know this may sound weird but the cucumber soda is a must-try. Honestly, it doesn’t taste anything like cucumber. It was very sweet with some carbonation. They also have a flavor called wiregrass, a lite soda and I tried their tea that was also really good.

The flatbread I ordered was called “the mozz.” It’s a simple cheese and marinara sauce on a thin, crispy crust. It was very flavorful and very good.

The bowl I ordered was filled with rice, chicken, broccoli, sweet potatoes, cheese, walnuts and edamame. So many vegetables. So many nutrients. When I go back, I will definitely be getting another bowl for sure. They have noodles as an option for a base in the bowls that also sounded very appetizing. You could order bowls that were created by the chef if all the choices were too overwhelming or you could be your own chef.

The only complaint I have is the soggy paper straw in my cucumber soda. Well, that and the parking lot is tiny with a few other businesses being run alongside it. But, other than that I would have to give this place a 9/10 and will definitely be back to try some different things on the menu.
