If you are looking for someplace to eat during the spring season, check out the new places that will be opening in the Tampa area within the next few weeks! The food ranges from healthy, yet delicious salads to mouth-watering desserts. There is something for everyone, so take a look and see the variety of food options coming near you this Spring. You certainly don’t won’t want to miss out on all of the tasteful, yet trending foods!

Del Taco: If you enjoy street tacos, this is the fast-food place just for you! Although this is more of a West Coast chain, Florida has decided to bring it to the South Tampa area. It is best known for its Mexican cuisine, complemented by a variety of American foods like burgers, shakes and fries. You can expect the restaurant to be located in the Sarasota-Bradenton area, but the Del Taco Senior Vice President of Development, Jeff Little, said they are still working on finding other locations.

Hampton Chocolate Factory: Indulge in a delicious chocolate treat at Hamptons Chocolate Factory food truck! The New York desserts have made their way to the Tampa Bay area, which will be having everyone lined up during the upcoming weeks! The truck is said to be located near Sparkman Wharf, so keep your eye out if you want to enjoy, French pastry Chef, Jean-Francois Bonnet’s gourmet treats!

MochiNut: The combination of the classic American donut and the Japanese sticky rice cake, known as mochi has been making its way across 20 nationwide locations, which has everyone wanting more! The owners of MochiNut are excited to announce that they will be opening their first Tampa store in Temple Terrace. If you thought that was great news, they will also be located in Pinellas Park, Bradenton and Orlando! The store is excited to announce that there will also be a variety of flavors to choose from, such as mango, black sesame, matcha and Nutella, as well as your traditional flavors like chocolate and vanilla. If you aren’t a fan of either of these foods, they also will be selling the famous Korean rice flour hot dogs, as well as boba.

Sweetgreen: Want something healthy, but tasty at the same time? Well… Hyde Park has the place for you! As the majority of people know, Los Angeles is known for its healthy living and their Insta famous food pics! Sweetgreen is a popular LA salad chain, which is set to open in the Hyde Park area sometime this year. Not only is their food delicious, but they are also eco-friendly. The restaurant’s mission is to become carbon neutral by 2027, while also serving its customers with nutritional, yet enjoyable meals. They also serve a variety of other dishes, such as bowls, plates, and yummy side dishes!

Crumbl Cookies: For the past year, everyone has been obsessed with the famous Crumbl Cookies. From Instagram posts to story reviews, these cookies have been a huge craze, especially in the Tampa area. For those living in South Tampa, it is quite a drive if you want to enjoy this delicious treat, but it is certainly worth it! However, you may not be having to do that any longer! The store has made plans to open up shop at 1902-A S Dale Mabry Hwy on May 27. This will most certainly have Tampa residents lining up at the door in no time! Crumbl sells over 170 flavors of specialty cookies, which are exchanged routinely, giving customers something new every week. A few of the most popular cookies, since the store has opened are the classic Chocolate Chip cookie, Chocolate Oreo, Rocky Road and Reese’s Cup.
