As the year wraps up, I have been able to spread my interest and recommend shows and give them honest reviews. This is my first year in journalism, and that alone helped hone my writing skills. I also got to meet new people and enjoy their presence, we got celebrate holidays, eat together, and sometimes listen & sing to music together. Journalism helped me fall in love with reading stories and even writing them even more. I really encourage people to join so it can help with their reading and writing skills and join a community where you can find your own voice and spread it. Peace and love, Thank you knights.

About the Contributor
Destiny Velazquez Martinez, Staff Writer
Destiny Velazquez Martinez is a senior and serves as a staff writer, entering her first year on the Knight Writers team. This year, Velazquez Martinez is looking forward to taking photos at our basketball games and track & field events, as well as writing opinion pieces.
“I love anime, the game of thrones universe and I like listening to K-pop. My interests encourage me to be a more proficient writer,” Velazquez Martinez says.
Outside of newspaper, Velazquez Martinez has interests in reading fiction books and her job. Her passions impact her as a writer and what she wants to read about on the daily. Velazquez Martinez plans become a better writer, which is why she decided to join the team, and she also wants to establish the skill of photography.
“Well, I want to go to college and be a surgical technician. If I don’t do that, I would possibly want to be an EMT. I really like the healthcare field, and I want to do something with it,” Velazquez Martinez says.
When Velazquez graduates from Robinson, she wants to go into healthcare, potentially at the University of South Florida, and she feels that joining the newspaper would help her write better reports or summarize anything and everything that happens while dealing with a patient.
