Breaking: Tornado Watch Until Eight Tonight

A tornado watch is in effect for 12 counties in Florida, including all of Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. The watch is in effect until 8 PM tonight. Thunderstorms and strong winds are expected as well. All outdoor sports practices were canceled today due to the weather.

Residents are recommeneded to stay indoors as much as possible until the storm passes.

The rain will bring in the season’s first cold front that will last for a few days. On Tuesdays, temperatures were drop with a high of 59 and low of 37. On Wednesday, the weather will be slightly warmer with a high of 64 and low of 44. The weather will slowly heat up the remainder of the week, and by Saturday highs will be in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 60s.
