Recently, Tri-M Music Honor Society cancelled the Talent Show. Originally, the Talent Show was supposed to occur on Thursday, April 1 at 6:30 in the courtyard. However, it was cancelled due to lack of interest.

“Only five students turned in an audition video. So, there was only five students that wanted to participate and normally we have about fifteen,” Chris Revett, band director and Tri-M sponsor, said.

Students were looking forward to watching their peers perform.

“I am [upset] that the talent show is cancelled, I was planning on going as it was the same night as college decisions and was hoping it could lift my spirits,” Carson Revie (’21) said.

Tri-M plans to carry on with the talent show per usual next year.

“[The cancellation] doesn’t mean anything for next year’s talent show, we still plan on doing one next year. We are just hoping to get a good group of kids together to showcase themselves next year,” Revett said. “Next year, it will be back in the auditorium, so maybe that will help get it back on track.”
