With big rival games comes excitement among the student body and the faculty. Every year, Robinson Knights face off against the Plant Panthers during the football season. It’s one of the biggest games of the season and brings together the entire school. Students dress up to show their support.

During all lunches, the student body continued this excitement for the game by selling “Beat Plant” t-shirts and painting faces of anyone who came by. Cassidy Chapman (’23), student body president Priya Sambasivan (’22) and other SGA representatives helped out as much as possible.

“I liked that a lot of students wanted to participate in getting into the school spirit and wanting to help support RHS SGA at the same time.” Chapman said.

Everyone from freshmen year to senior year couldn’t wait for the game and loved seeing the school so in-unison.

“It was really cool seeing everyone get together and dress up.” Freshmen Averie Mason said.

The football team appreciated the student’s effort.

“It was raw. It made all the football team [feel like they were] playing in the movies.” Xavier Difo (’22) said, “[I think the school spirit] brought life to Jack Peters Stadium. The body paint was beautiful.”
