It’s that time of year again, the yearly blood drive arrives on Tuesday, September 28 from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Sign up to donate blood at lunches on Friday, September 24 and Monday, September 27.

You must be 16 years old and you’ll need parental permission in order to donate. You’ll need to make an account with OneBlood to receive post donation instructions.

“People should donate blood because it helps other’s in need for example people who need blood transfers,” said Jocelyn Vargas (’22), a Knight who is considering donating blood this year.

All donors will receive a free OneBlood Cancer Awareness T-Shirt and socks, as well as a wellness checkup that includes blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening.

Appointments are encouraged, you can schedule one at https://www.oneblood.org/donate-now/ and use the sponsor code #11998.

You can find all this information around the school with flyers and  staff announcements.
