As the school year starts to come to an end, the yearbook team is preparing to release a project that reflects months of hard work and creativity. In an interview with yearbook staff member Vivian Tran, she shared some words on how it’s all coming together.
”It was definitely a long and difficult process this year,” said Tran. ”With all the new staff coming in, there was a lot to learn, but the end product is definitely rewarding.” According to Tran, the addition of new members created challenges, but it also gave the team a chance to grow and collaborate in new ways.
Tran explained that much of the team’s inspiration came from social media platforms like TikTok and Pinterest. ”I got a lot of my inspo for spreads from TikTok and Pinterest,” she said, highlighting how modern trends influenced the yearbook team’s design choices.
When asked about a release date Tran shared that the yearbook is expected to be finished by the end of prom week. This timeline allows students to receive their books while memories from the school year are still fresh in everyone’s mind.
Tran also emphasized the dedication of the entire team.” Everyone worked so hard all year, and I think the end product will be really awesome to look at,” she said.
Robinson knights can expect a yearbook that stands out from traditional designs. ”Expect a lot of ‘wow, I forgot about that’ kind of moments and amazing designs,” Tran added. She added that the team made a strong effort to create a book that reflects the uniqueness of the student body rather than sticking to the regular basic format.
