The RHS swim team is making a splash this school year!

The team is diving headfirst into loads of intense practicing and drills. In recent weeks, they took to Bobby Hicks Pool at the crack of dawn to prep themselves for the upcoming swim meet against Strawberry Crest and Freedom High School that was to take place on Thursday, Aug. 25. The swim team has been pooling their efforts into diving, relay starts, turns and more so that they could beat their opponents with ease.

Riddled with excitement and anticipation, the RHS swim team set off Thursday afternoon for their first swim meet of the year. Unfortunately, that excitement would not last, as the day would end with the meeting being rained out. However, the swim meet has been rescheduled for Aug. 30 at Bobby Hicks Pool at 6 p.m., an opportunity to see them in action after all this practice.
