Just after the boy’s senior night on Friday, Jan. 17, the girl’s team played Middleton in a district play off game.

The game started off evenly matched until Sarah Jennewein (’17) scored the first goal of the night.

The Knights did not seem to be slowing down at all when Knight’s captain Sam Ishee (’15) scored the second goal.

Ishee was so pumped that she finished off the first half with the team’s third and her second goal of the night.

It was obvious that Coach Helms pumped up his team even more during half time.

Right off the whistle, captain Hayden Jennewein (’15) scored her first goal of the game.

Then out of nowhere, Ishee kicks a beautifully curved shot from a corner to complete her hat trick.

It was getting more and more physical, and Laura Osorio (’15) could not take it anymore.  She was given a yellow card and was sent to the bench.

Coach Helms and the referee had a few disagreements, but they were resolved shortly.

Nearing the end of the game, the possession was changing frequently.

With the clock winding down, Knights captain Claire Rothschild made her first goal back from her injury of a torn A.C.L. She was overjoyed and a very emotional point for her.

Justin Fontes, Yearbook Student Life Editor
Senior Justin Fontes is that kid that you see walking around with very short shorts. They are called “Chubbies” just in case you were wondering. He is the kind of person that likes to have a fun time. He’s the kind of person that is friendly to everyone. What you may not know about him is that he is the captain of both the varsity lacrosse team and the golf team and that he is the Youth Engagement Chair of the South Tampa Relay for Life. He is also in love with the water. He is the manager of a fishing team named “Tampa Bay Fishing Team.” He is on the water at least once a day. Another thing that you should know about him is that he takes part in many alternative sports, like ultimate Frisbee, archery, longboarding, surfing, etc. He is a huge outdoors person, and is currently doing something cooler than you.
