Basketball Loses to Jesuit, 43-48

Boy’s basketball narrowly lost to district rival Jesuit last night, scoring 43 to Jesuit’s 48. Robinson held a two point lead after the first quarter, but by the half Jesuit lead 23-22. Both teams scored 13 points in the third quarter, making the score 36-35. During the fourth quarter, the Tigers outscored the Knights by four to win by five points.

Iyan Mitchell (’15) lead the Knights in scoring with 14 points, including three three-pointers. Travis Forehand (’15) and Matthew Hall (’15) tied for the most free throws with two each.

With the loss, the Knights are 10-5 and ranked second in the district. Their next game is Thursday, Jan. 8th against Middleton, another district team. The Knights beat Middleton, who holds a 1-14 record this season, 71-31 earlier this season. The game will be held at Middleton and starts at 8 PM.
