With a clean 3-0 victory over Desoto County High School, the Lady Knights volleyball team finished up their regional quarter final game with a bang. Crushing Desoto County 25-14, 25-12, and 25-8 the Knights put on a good show of dominating the court, and will carry this momentum into their next game November 1, 2017.

Moving forward, head coach Ashley “AJ” Johnson said, “In this small little fish bowl we are doing great, but in this ocean we have to do better [Bishop Moore].”

With Bishop Moore previously defeating the lady Knights, it will surely be tough for the players to stay motivated to continue on with the proposition of their season possibly coming to an end.

Elly Frierson (’18) , spoke briefly on this, “It’s definitely stressful because you’re trying to make [the season] as long as possible because it is, after all, your senior season so the goal is to just win as many games as you can.” With the season closing in on the last few games, the Lady Knights have a tough road ahead.
