The Robinson Knights (1-2) looked for redemption against the East Bay Indians (3-0) following last week’s 40-6 loss to Plant (2-1) last Friday, but ultimately fell 35-12. The Indians took a commanding  22-0 lead early in the game, but the Knights put a touchdown on the board and went into the half trailing 22-6. The second half began with another East Bay touchdown, but Robinson responded by converting an East Bay fumble into a fourth quarter touchdown to put the score at 29-12. East Bay tacked on another touchdown late in the fourth quarter to end the game. The Knights will play Spoto High School in their first district game of the season next Friday, September 14, at Robinson High School (6311 S Lois Ave, 33616).
