Boys Basketball

The Knights (2-2) had a big week this past week with three games, ending with a big comeback victory. The Knights began the week with a 62-49 win over Armwood (0-2) on Tuesday, Nov. 27. The Knights then fell to Hillsborough (3-1) 59-34 on Thursday, Nov. 29. But, to end the week, the Knights defeated Chamberlain (0-3) 52-21 after taking the lead in the last minute of the game. Captain Christopher Rolack led the team in scoring with 13 points.

The Knights face Jesuit (3-1) on Friday, Dec. 7, at home (6311 S Lois Ave, 33616).

Girls Basketball

The Lady Knights (5-0) added to their undefeated streak this week with three big wins. They first defeated Armwood 54-43 on Tuesday, Nov. 27. On Thursday, Nov. 29, they beat Hillsborough 67-24 and then added to that on Friday, Nov. 30, by defeating Chamberlain 67-38.

“I think we’ll continue to get better and grow especially during winter break,”Captain Parker Franklin (’19) said. “I think we have potential to get further than [we have in] seasons before.”

The Lady Knights next play Middleton in a district matchup on Monday, Dec. 11, at Middleton High School (4801 N 22nd St, 33610).

Competitive Cheer

The cheer team competed at Spoto High School on Tuesday, November 27. They scored 204 out of 300.

“It’s the best we’ve performed at a first competition,” Alexis Smith (’19) said. “We’re all really excited about how we’re going to do this season.”

The cheer team’s next competition will be on Tuesday, December 4 at Armwood High School (12000 US-92, Seffner, FL 33584).

Boys Soccer

The Knights (0-5) faced off against three tough teams in last week’s Wharton Invitational, getting shutout by all three. The Knights first played Steinbrenner on Monday, Nov. 26, and lost 7-0. On Tuesday, Nov. 27, the Knights lost to Bloomingdale 6-0. To close out the week, the Knights faced Wharton on Friday, Nov. 30. Robinson was shut out 3-0.

The Knights next face the Yellow Jackets on Friday, Dec. 7, at Blake High School (1701 N Blvd, 33607).

Girls Soccer

The Lady Knights (0-4) were supposed to play Jefferson on Thursday, Nov. 30, but the game was canceled because the referees did not show up.

Robinson faces Blake on Friday, Dec. 7, at Blake High School (1701 N Blvd, 33607).
