The Knights beat Chamberlain 38-6 in their pre-season game on Friday Aug. 19. The Knights dominated and almost shut out the Chiefs, until Chamberlain ended up scoring their points in the fourth quarter when Robinson’s starters were on the sidelines. The Knights were led by quarterback Eric Archield (’25) who returned a season-ending injury.

“It was great because I knew what we could do last year but didn’t get the chance to, so coming back and putting on the show we did feels like reality to come true,” said Archield.

The game was a major success regarding the previous season’s stats. A game with such a point difference sets the expectations high for the remainder of the season. The Knights will try to keep this going with the upcoming games.

Robinson faces Spoto High School on Friday, Aug. 26, with a home game in the first regular season game.
