The Robinson Knights Football played in their final game of the year against Tampa Bay Tech High School on Oct. 31st. The game brought the seniors together in a night they will never forget. Before the game, the class of 2025 had the chance to walk across the field with family, friends, and teammates in honor of all the hard work and dedication they have brought to the team in the past 4 years.
“The last game I was looking forward to hopefully winning,” running back Omar Anchico III (’27) said, ” but next year will be a great year.”
Though the Knights fell behind early, they continued to fight back. Near the end of the game, wide receiver Dereon Campbell (’27) found the end zone with a pass from quarterback Jackson Bulger (’29). This play was their best of the night, showing the resilience this team has had all season long. The defense held strong all night, even when Tech made some hard plays against them. With players on the sideline cheering on their teammates, and parents encouraging the entire team.
“The seniors have been a steady presence and great role models,” Jackson Bulger (’29) said. “It’s been great to play alongside them, and I wish them success.”
The team is excited for their future, but will forever remember the hard work and dedication these seniors have put into this team. They look forward to getting work done during the off-season, so they come back stronger and better than ever. Even though this season has been hard for them, they have stayed strong and put so much effort into every game they have played.
