On Wed. March 4, Robinson’s Flag Football team played an exciting game against Strawberry Crest High School. At the beginning of the night, the game was tight, but the Knights used that as fuel for the rest of the game.
“In the second half we were able to gain some great momentum on offense and push the ball down the field much easier,” Captain, Sarah Williams (’27) said. “The offense as a whole felt super cohesive and efficient, which is how we want to be all the time. Defense had some really good stops as well.”
The team’s chemistry was reflected in their playing, making quick plays and covering all parts of the field. Improved communication and teamwork helped them operate more smoothly as the game progressed.
“I felt super confident in my teammates and their ability to make plays, and we are so excited for the rest of the season,” Williams said.
The final score was 32-6. The Knights play their next game on March 9 at Bloomingdale, and after this strong game, the team hopes to carry that momentum with them for the rest of the season.
