Salma Boughdiri, Staff Writer
Salma Boughdiri is a senior at Robinson and a Staff Writer for RHSToday and Knight Writers. This is her first year on staff.
Boughdiri wanted to join the publication to find opportunities to encounter a new environment and to better her writing.
"I joined here so I can get a new experience...I like to try new things," she said.
In her free time, she likes to draw and listen to music. Also, Boughdiri is a huge sports fan and likes physical activity. If she had the choice of watching or playing sports she'd rather play. "I haven't [played] sports here at Robinson even though I would like to." She said.
Because of this love, she wants to write about sports, specifically wrestling. "I think I might start [writing for] sports because I think that's easier. We always have sport[ing] events happening here at Robinson."
Usually, she isn't someone who likes to publicly speak during class but she knew it would help her when talking to new people. So far, she's had good experiences with reaching out to her fellow staffers.
"So far, I think it's pretty cool. Everybody seems to be really nice and outgoing. I like it." Boughdiri said. She's excited to be on the staff. She likes the energy and thinks it's nice to get to know new people and learn new things. She's ready to be challenged and to face anything the year will bring her.
