Sophie Le, Opinion Editor
Sophie Le is a Junior at Robinson and is the current Opinion Editor for the Knight Writers. This is her second year on staff.
Le chose to join newspaper to improve her writing skills and gain some experience with creative writing, which she feels is missing from schools.
“I’ve always thought I was a bad writer, so I really wanted more experience with it,” Le said. “Especially with things that I am more interested in.”
Outside of the classroom, Le is starting her own club with a non-profit organization to help expand their reach.
“I’m starting my own club this year based on getting donations for our cause Clothes for Kids,” Le said.
When school is out for the day, Le pursues her interest in the world of fashion. You could usually find Le at a variety of stores, shopping for different clothing styles.
“I love going to flea markets and vintage stores. I really like antique shops,” Le said.
She also makes fashionable alternations to the clothing she buys.
“I also worked at my grandma alterations shop, so I know how to alter clothing…that adds to the fashion passion,” Le said.
Le keeps herself motivated with her many goals for this school year. She plans on getting even more stories printed.
“My goal for this year is to get a lot more stories done, voice a lot more opinions,” Le said. “I am excited now because as an editor. I have a lot more responsibilities but that means I get to do even more.”
