Samuel Elliott, Print Managing Editor
Samuel Elliott is a senior at Robinson and the Print Managing Editor on Knight Writers and RHSToday. It is his second year on staff and his first year as an editor.
Elliott’s passion for everything music has influenced many of his publications for RHSToday, such as his article, “An Introduction to Lowercase Music” where he teaches the basics of the music genre and recommends some of his favorites from an experienced background.
Elliott is no rookie music critic, he has an impressive record of song reviews, having rated over 400.
“I could do a whole ted talk, just talking about music…I like music, I like to listen to music, I love everything music” Elliott expresses.
After he consumes music to an unhealthy amount, Elliott likes to balance it out with a healthy outdoor activity, cycling, one of his many hobbies. Elliott is currently working on creating a cycling club at Robinson high school, something that has not been attempted by any student before. Elliott’s cycling club will invite Robinson students to cycle outdoor trails and encourage the exploration of nature, stemming from his interest in ecological and environmental topics. He mentions a possibility of working in the future, as a government ecologist or a designer, two drastically different worlds, yet it frames Elliott’s duality and identity perfectly, a well-versed journalist.
