Ariana Smith, Staff Writer
Ariana Smith is a junior at Robinson and a staff writer for Knight Writers. This is her first year on staff.
Smith is an enthusiastic reader and enjoys all things horror. Although Smith is not currently involved in any clubs, she is looking forward to joining Book Club and plans on doing volunteer work with Junior Civitan as well.
"Horror is definitely my favorite book and movie genre," Smith said. "I love all things Stephen King, my favorite book by him at the moment would be 'Walk A Mile.'"
In her downtime, you can see her either playing soccer or tennis. She has been doing both sports for five years and even though she doesn't see herself doing either sport for Robinson, she is on a team outside of school.
Not to mention, you can always see Smith wearing headphones or earbuds. Even though she doesn't have a specific favorite artist, she is an enormous rap fan.
"I love rap music, but I don't specifically have a favorite rapper," Smith said. "The last song I listened to was "Don't" by Bryson Tiller."
Despite the fact that Smith does not have a set plan for the future, after high school, she hopes to be a social worker or a therapist.
"Honestly, I don't have a dream job," Smith said. "I just want whatever pays well that I would be satisfied with. Right now, being a social worker sounds really appealing to me. Or maybe I will go to trade school, who knows."
