Charlotte Stone, Print Managing Editor
Charlotte Stone is a junior at Robinson and the Print Managing Editor for Knight Writers. This is her second year on staff and her second year as an editor.
Stone joined journalism as a way to improve her writing skills since she believes that, as a high school student, there is a lot of writing that goes along with it. She also enjoys writing and wanted to branch out and try something new.
"When you’re writing an essay about "Macbeth," no one is gonna enjoy that," Stone said. "I wanted to join to improve my writing skills because it was one of my interests and it actually wound up being really fun. It has definitely helped."
Outside of Room 250, Stone is very active in school as she is a part of many clubs including Women in Stem and Bullet Journaling. She is also part of the leadership team in the Latin Club, where she is secretary.
Stone's interests outside of school include playing guitar. Her love for the guitar goes way back, but she recently began taking it seriously about three or four years ago. Stone plays electric and acoustic guitar and enjoys playing many different genres.
“Since I started playing guitar my music taste has definitely changed cause I like to be able to hear guitar in songs," Stone added. "It’s just fun when you can pick it out and say 'Oh I want to learn that song.'"
Stone enjoys playing tennis as well and has been playing since she was young. She has been playing for Robinson for two years now, was the number one seed last year for the girl's team and will be returning this year in the spring for her third year.
"I’m looking forward to getting to leave school early which is really fun and also bonding with the team," Stone said. "No one takes it super super seriously so we're free to just have fun and get to know each other and it's a really good time."
